Starting to deploy our telehealth service for COPD patients

Today we’re starting our first COPD patient with a telehealth system, consisting of a 3G tablet and several devices connected via bluetooth technology: Blood pressure, oximeter, pulse, termometer and pedometer, plus a daily monitoring of this data by our experienced clinical contact center. This will be the first of fifteen COPD patients that will engage in this national pilot (there are more 60 patients, from different hospitals and providers) and we hope to have all patient connected by the end of next month. The pilot is funded by the Government.

For this pilot, the system that we will use at patient home, is Vitalmobile. In this post I share with you a video demonstration about the system:

As you can see is a system that’s easy to use.
